The Prophecy
Five shall burn and five shall break,
No single hand the whole shall take.
The throne shall crack, the crown shall fade,
And none shall wield what once was made.
Yet hear this truth, etched deep in thread—
A child shall rise where hope lies dead.
Not just ruler born, nor sovereign bred,
But reckoning, with stars o’erhead.
Of root and flame, of sea and sky,
Of shadow’s hush and light’s reply.
No one element shall they bind,
This soul shall fracture every line.
Not forged for war, nor raised for peace,
But meant to make the breaking cease.
A bridge between, a breath, a scar,
The echo of the realms we are.
So mark the hour, and heed the fall,
The child who bears the strength of all.
The fate we cast, the path we chose…
Will bloom or burn when time reknows.

Family Trees
These trees represent royal succession (crowns denote succession line), not full genealogical detail.
Some family members do not appear in this book, and children are listed under their father’s line rather than repeated across both parents.
Not all Mystics or Mystic families are part of the royal succession Lines shown here.

Author's Note
Welcome to Vyrdanor—where the divine are real, the magic is dangerous, and peace is always temporary.
The Prophecy of Vyrdanor is a sweeping epic—part romance, part tragedy, part political reckoning. It follows not only chosen heroes and their lovers, but those who live in their shadows. Along the way, you will encounter themes both beautiful and brutal.
This is not a gentle story.
Though love pulses through its veins, so too does cruelty. Within these pages and the ones to follow, kingdoms rise and fall. Children are born with divine purpose—or cursed fates. Friendships are forged and fractured beneath the weight of lies, and desire can heal... or destroy.
You will walk through halls where alliances are sealed in blood and broken with a touch. You will meet warriors who cannot save everyone, lovers who choose wrong, and rulers who would rather burn the world than lose their crown—or their ideals.
Torture lives in the silence between pleas. Betrayal hides behind polished smiles. Marriage vows are forced in the name of peace. There is violence where there should have been safety, manipulation disguised as protection, and infidelity cloaked in both unthwarted lust and desperate longing.
The divine interfere. The bold defy them. And bodies—sometimes broken, sometimes sacred—become vessels of both love and trauma.
You’ll find coming-of-age arcs, explorations of sexual identity, fertility and childbirth, and moments that challenge the comfort of tradition. Violence will not always be swift, nor sex always soft.
Some characters will die. Others will wish they had.
If you have come for light—know it shines brightest in contrast to shadow.
If you have come for truth—prepare to face it with trembling hands.
And if you have come for love—expect to fight and bleed for it.
Some parts may make you swoon. Others may make you rage. I hope all of them make you feel.
This is not a fairytale. This is Vyrdanor.
And the prophecy waits for no one.

Statements on Politics & Diversity
A brief note on politics and parallels.
This series contains deliberate parallels to the current political climate of the United States and the wider world. Social injustice, economic imbalance, and the consequences of foreign policy all play out on the page—sometimes quietly, sometimes uncomfortably—always intentionally.
While some believe literature should be apolitical, storytelling has always reflected the systems, conflicts, and power structures of its time. Fantasy does not exist outside of reality; it refracts it.
My work is no exception.
A quick note on diversity and worldbuilding—because it matters to me.
The Echoes of Shattered Realms is set primarily in Vyrdanor, a region that—like many real-world civilizations in earlier centuries—developed in relative geographic and cultural isolation. In its distant past, Vyrdanor was a crossroads—shaped by migration, conquest, trade, intermarriage, and old magic that blurred borders as often as it erased them.
But history has a way of narrowing itself.
Centuries of political consolidation, dynastic rule, religious influence, and prolonged war slowly pulled Vyrdanor inward. Borders hardened, bloodlines were curated, and alliances became insular. Over millennia, bloodlines mingled through conquest, migration, and old magic, but much of that diversity has been diluted by time, politics, and power.
Like much of this story, that evolution carries real-world political undertones. Without getting into too much detail—for reasons that would drift into spoiler territory—it reflects how societies justify themselves in the name of order and survival, and how those justifications can harden into corruption and power over time.
That contraction is part of the story.
As The Echoes of the Prophecy unfolds, the world expands.
We move beyond Vyrdanor into other realms and cultures—places shaped by different climates, histories, magics, and values. With that expansion comes far greater ethnic and cultural diversity, not added for balance or optics, but emerging naturally from the world’s structure and its long-suppressed connections.
This is intentional.
I care deeply about authenticity—even in fantasy. Empires rise and fall. Power centralizes. Borders are enforced. And when those borders fracture—or are challenged—the world doesn’t just change.
It reveals itself.
With the releaseof The Echoes of Shattered Realms, we are only at the beginning of that journey.
